The whole month of January we barely got out of the 40s. The 1-17th were frigid, we had deep ponds froze over lows down to 12* and 4 days that the high struggled to top 32*. And it was a nasty wet cold too. It would rain then the temp would dive down around freezing. Sucked for me at work! I was glad when it stayed so low cause I could take my bucket truck anywhere I wanted too.

I have been like never before this year!

Well then Fort Worth is North if that is the criteria. We have 12" of snow, here and more in other places. I know the trees hate it, we lost a good portion of our Magnolia tree, and we just might end up losing a couple more before it is over with. Tree branches here, do not bend like they are being forced too.

It sure is cool, snowing like a mother one day, melting the next and shorts the day after.

If you look at all the winter storms we've had in this country over the last 5 years you will see that with few exceptions every one of them has come up from the South instead of down from the North like they used to. The South get it's worse then the North does.

I've even started changin how I build my farm shed's. Used to be open side facing South, not any more if I get the option the opening always goes facing the East now.

normally what we get is from the west and from the north, so south and east facing is best.. but lately it's been from every damn direction... nowhere is safe!!!
