yep went in to regeister my truck and I asked why the registration keeps going up each year. I asked for an explanation of charges and the lady said because your truck weighs 7k+ pounds that I have a weight tax. She said its because of the damage my truck does to the roads from everyday driving compared to a compact or sedan. Even know I have no emissions to worry about like newer diesels, they still find a way to get you

 

Unfortunately, California isn't the only state doing that either. Here in PA, you have to register your vehicle for GVW, so if you plan on towing a trailer, you have to make sure you're registered for the entire weight. That makes it $198/year for me to register for 10k.

 

What really grinds my gears is people that can't park when there is lines.

 

So glad I live in Oklahoma. We don't even have inspection anymore...

 

the only inspection i had to do in kansas was transfering title from colorado. and that's jusr a vin check.

 

,eastern aggie even when we did have inspections,if you knew the right service station guy it didn't matter. All that 5 dollars was for was the O.H.P. retirement fund! LOL!

 

you know what grinds my gears! i agree with all of you, 99% of the you tube videos, 90% of the people on forums that cant google there question, the cost of diesel, the cost of heavy duty parts for my truck, FACEBOOK! my wife asking when we are trying for a baby, look damn-it i'm 24 and dont want a kid, my truck comes first! FACEBOOK, the fact i have to have a facebook so my wife can see my what my "friends" are doing, people that drive lowered cars in the snow and ask me for help. NO i wont help you get stuck in another ditch or snow bank. 20" plus rims on lifted trucks! DPF. FACEBOOK. the fact i cant spell or type worth a damn.

City limits grinds my gears! People that cough around me when I'm smoking, pot not being legal, so I weld for a living and I don't need to hear about your welding experience in shop class!
