Sorry guys but this is funny, good luck on buying genuine American made ,seen one of these threads on another forum with a guy saying he only bought American made cars and come to find out he checked his VIN on his American muscle car(camero) and it was built in (*nobody cares)
And that's spelled "Camaro", there's no E just like there's no G in Cummins. Your example of domestic cars is flacid as they all have "Made in XYZ Country" stickers/placards where it's pretty obvious they're not made here.
Clearly not everything "MITUSA" is 100% produced and made here, especially those rubber boots I got. But they're closer to home than the pair sitting next to them that said "Made in China". When it has a "Made in the U.S.A." sticker/logo/placard, it just means that at least some of it was manufactured/assembled/processed/et cetera by some skilled labor here. Again, this is not a boycott on all foreign goods, please actually read more than the subject line.

We Americans make the money that the Chinese use to manufacture the raw materials that they send to America for final assembly. So what now?

Yea this is a tough one not too much that you can say is actually "made" in U.S.A. Even now with the boxed beef, pork, and lamb there is a label on the pkgs that say product of U.S, Canada, or Mexico. So even down to the basic meat we eat for dinner isnt may not even be produced in the U.S.A. Its most likely processed in the good ol but even at that
