Simple answer.....NONEX.

Check your yellow pages for blasting companies and see if they 'shoot' with Nonex. If they do, or know someone who does, that's your ticket.

Or google NONEX and read about it. I've used it, it works. Good stuff.

Dont know if you still have a rock problem but get that bach hoe runnin in road gear lower the bucket and jump out right before it hits the rock. Do that a few times and one of two things will happen. 1.) the rock will break. 2.) the backhoe will break and you can go buy a bigger one that willl move it.

Good Luck,
Jamie

Not for Dolomite or Sandstone.

ESPECIALLY not for Dolomite or Sandstone thats on surface near a house. Read my sig. BTW- you do know the consequences of being found out that you posted that on the web especially since the lot number and build date are exposed with the MIL tracker? Yes, I know you know the answer to this.

Unstable and wont even put a scratch on Dolomite or Sandstone that has been unearthed.

The same idea applies to using water... drill your holes (as many as you can in a line across it) and fill them with water this January and let them freeze repeatedly...keep the water full.

True Value Ace Hardware...where else?
Hammer drills were alot cheaper back then...
Nope, they used wet wicks.
Frozen water wouldn't even begin to THINK about splitting Dolomite or Sandstone. Thats why we have to use upwards of 15Kpsi with FRAC units using multiple tri-plex pumps to fracture most rock formations in a Oil/Gas wells in most regions.

i say you super heat it REALLY hot......put a fire extinguisher right beside it and shoot the fire extinguisher.......might work, might not, either way, it will be fun to try.........

build you a nice thick shield that will take a decent blast and just stand behind it and spray the rock with the CO2.........

i didnt say either of those was a GOOD idea, just an idea......

since the pics dont work i cant tell ya, i had about six 800-1000 pound rocks in my yard back in ohio lining the driveway....we just pushed them around with the loader.....
