Where to start,

hasn't been the best year but over all not horrible.

started off the year fresh out of an accident, borrowing a vehicle RIP reliable ford 6.9 and a really sore shoulder and in a relationship that was doomed from the start.

on the up side I managed to scrape together enough to buy my current dodge, met a great girl i'm very happy with and i'm still employed. towed a friend from PA to AL was a 10 day offroad trip and that was a great get away for me.

finished my offroad truck, enough to take it out.
still broke.
daughter is doing better in school this year.
did some side work that had some unforseen problems not under my control so the guy doesnt even wanna pay me for travel or any of my time so far.

so I dunno.. it's had it's ups and down it could be better but it could be a heck of a lot worse.. every time i'm caught up and things are looking bright I get knocked back down.

2009 has been okay but better than the middle of the year back when I caught a guy I was with for a long time with another girl and tried to act like he didn't know me, then I was threatened several times by another ex but now, I'm dating another one and I'm so happy with him! He's been a pipefitter and has taught welding classes and plans to teach me until I can get certified, so I can work with him! Got me my first Cummins about 3 weeks ago even though it's so ugly, but all I really need is the motor and transmission anyways. Also, got me another 4-wheeler so I'm happy about that even though my bank account is going way down. College is going good and I love it much better than high school full of rich preps. Still working this boring job as a receptionist though.

Hummm, let's see...
2009 made a difficult start as I was under employed until March 1st. As such I missed a deadline to write an exam and when I finally got my **** together it was after when the association changed the exam to the new stuff. As a result of that I failed in July. Work responsibilities were removed to the point where I don't do much anymore but still get paid well enough.

In April, bought the wife a new car - I love it, unfortunately, as a result of that purchase I was unable to start building my shop!

Work is wrapping up again and now it is looking more difficult to find a construction management job in the local area. I missed the opportunity to submit a bid to the City for a major civic centre renovation which I am a bit miffed about but I was asleep at the wheel on that one. Live and learn.

It looks like this winter is going to be skiing time and maybe even a sled trip - who knows. I have to keep the costs down as I don't know what is in store for the first quarter of 2010.

The economy seems to be picking up but it isn't moving as fast as I would like it to.

Cheers.
