I didn't read every post, so may I ask what it is you do?

Instead of "looking" for work from someone else, is there a possibility of marketing your skills to work for yourself?

Some of the best self made types were born from similar adversity.

Well, I know now more. It would seem that the VP (who is a nice guy BTW) has given me my notice indicating that it will be the end of January 2010. This is good news but not great news.

It will give me some time to get my stuff together, stay of the EI ski team and explore options that may be available.

 

Gives you some time to make a plan of options to explore, and how.

 

yeah, it gives me some time to find something else and not worry about the holidays and all that sort of thing.

a few degrees cooler today and it would be snowing hard! Ski season is coming!!

Holy cats, that's a lot of rain!

It finally stopped raining here. Think it rained most of October. Now they can finish up stuff on my house, so I'll be ready for the snow--I like it to snow on Thanksgiving, which for us isn't for a few weeks yet.

 

we had like 2 days of showers in October and only 1 really sunny day in November. The rain is here to stay. I would rather it snow.

 

How long will the rain be there to stay? Not familiar with weather in BC.
