The 100 mile diet is a process of which you consume local or near local product that is approximately 100 mile radius away from your location. what this means is you don't eat fruit and veggies from California or Mexico or Chile if you live in Canada or on the eastern sea board of the USA. It is scary really.

Think you have the right idea there! Get the hell off the grid before BHO forces the entire country to go up like the Hindenburg!

Sorry to hear about your job. I was laid-off the first part of the year. Right now, I'm on course to take a full 50% hit in pay this year! But with wifey's medical bills and everyone else's hand out, it's looking pretty bleak around here. Ya got a couple extra mules???

OMG, this is brutal. I've cleaned up the office and am waiting for the "meeting" on Wednesday. It is going to be a slow next few days...

Slow is an understatement. The politically motivated goof that knows not how to build but how to "smooze" called me this morning and asked me to help him out... This is the guy that is going to take over for me most certainly. Anyway, with begrudging optimism I did what he asked me to do and he just says "Okay, Thanks" and hangs up. He has to know that he's taking my job and he has to know that I'm not overly happy about it by now I'm sure.

I guess with 15 years of experience I should take a lesson from this guy and start being a dog baller or at least politically motivated in some way.

Naahh, why start now...

Every now and then, it's good to be wrong. I am hoping (no offense intended) that this is your every now and then. I hope things don't go that way, despite the forcast.

We have been slow in Florida for 3 years and I think it's going to get worse and a lot of people are going to lose their houses and they keep letting them come across the border 25 thousand a month to make sure we won't survive.

No offense, there buddy. Things will come back on line. They always do. See I know that this is going to end - it was supposed to end in December which I was prepared for and sort of looking forward too to be honest but 1 month early is still 1 month early...

I know it sucks to get laid off. I really do feel for you guys. And I think I too may get the ax soon. At work things are getting slow. Sucks with Christmas less than 2 months away, but I guess thats just how it is. Oh well, I guess. Get to spend more time with the kid.
