LOL! I Love the description! (Got to keep that one and plagiarize it!! Lots!!)

Busta, glad to see you out and about bud!! (Dent removal?) (Sounds a little.... 'Ouch' to me.....) (We've all been praying for you!! Hope all is going well with all of that..... We just got word from the ins. co. that is responsible for who hit my wife and girls in Dec that they are finally ready to settle. Hopefully you will get some good words like that too!)

I think you guys are going to like Win 7! From what I could see of it; it is a lot 'lighter' on the computer and does a lot better job of setting up new hardware and networking! It was going along just great for me until I 'nuked' it! Remember when XP would say that a program had not been 'certified' as 'compatible' with XP? Well, 7 has about the same type of statement and it turns out you should maybe listen to it....... Oooppss!! I figured my sound card driver would work anyway so I told it to shut up and install it anyway.... Long and short of it is just don't! Unless you like having a 'blue screen of death' for no reason... Sometimes it will do that and a physical memory dump just by logging in....
But the program itself, I think you all will like! It isn't even that hard to find where they moved things..... (I hate that: It isn't 'new' if it is just moved / re-located!!)

This one used to be 499.00 but now its a free upgrade to win 7. costco also has a bulletproof return policy.

This works great on the rioad

Looks like a good machine!

Those turkeys have not only increased the price to $550, but now it says it's not eligible for the free upgrade to Win 7 . . . . That isn't very nice of them! I don't like Vista enough that would be a deal breaker for me! (Course I have a 'disc' that will erase any errant O.S. . . . . So it's not all bad!)

My ol lady has pret-near the same laptop since March 09 and it has been good to her. Vista is not that bad, only some of the older lame software that few people want doesn't work but most stuff now does.

I don't think so. The issue is the 32bit software can't utilize all the power of the 64bit architecture.
