Since Jeff Foxworthy came along nothin, everybody wants to be a redneck. Before him it was an insult no different then a few other names I can think of. You know back when bad meant it was bad and gay didn't mean you were happy about somebody that looked just like you.

 

i was a redneck before foxworthy was famous so you must be talking about all them rednecks that came out of the closet when foxwothy said i will make you famous right. i have been wearing my bibs fixing things with duct tape and bailing wire forever.Once a redneck always a redneck.
