PEX Waterlines
anybody messed with this stuff..............I just ordered close to 400 bucks worth of stuff so I can totally re-do my cabin........my friend has the crimping pliers so I am just gonna borrow them

I was looking at doing it in a concrete floor in a grid for radiant heat. Seams to be what a lot of builders are using. The builder I work for uses it.

I see they have some other PEX recommended for the heating projects....cant member the details but its on that website

Depends on your water if you have very harsh water like in Socal it won't last but a few years then you will have thousands of pinhole leaks. I don't see it ever lasting as long as copper, but maybe long enough you can justified replacing it in 10+ years.

I have yet to hear of a failure with the Pex pipe, a few problems with poor install procedures but not the products fault. The stuff for in-floor slabs is different than just the regular stuff. |
