Money Up and coming... need sponsers (Yamaha R1)

Hello everyone,

I've always done track days on my street bike which is just fun racing, with now places just rip around the track at your own pace, but now I finally got a position with my company where I do not travel anymore so I went in a sportsman class which is still kinda the beer league but with a real start and place finishing. But they told me I'm not allowed to race in that again cause my times were too fast and I would've won all the Novice Superbike races.

So I went out and got all the race fairings and such to make my bike legal for the league racing. Now I'm left a little strapped for cash and am looking to drum up some sponsers. I'm just racing the last two regional races in Novice this year here and will hopefully if I can get enough help do Expert in the Regional races and if at all possible Nationals in Canada.

So If anyone wants some advertising or has any advice on how I should go about getting sponsers please let me know. I could use help for anything tires, oil, fuel, brakes, gear, etc. I can decal my bike and truck and than trailer if I get one.

I'm currently riding an '05 Yamaha R1 that is now stricly a track bike and will use that next year than up grade the year after. I use my big Diesel for my crew truck and will hopefully be grabbing up an enclosed trailer for next year if I can.

*O ya and they pic is of the stock fairings I just finished installing the race set which has less gaps in it. It will need to be painted yet but will be a fresh untouched canvas.*

Paint it white, don't put any stickers on it that you're not getting paid for, and go win some races. Sponsors will follow if you're that good. Oh yeah, always act 100% professional when you're around anything motorcycles, you never know who is willing to shell out the bucks and you don't want to ruin your chances before they ever see you ride. Sorry I can't tell you where to find sponsors now, they usually come to you after you do the above things.

I sponsor a demo derby team, nothing major, maybe $4,000 a year in parts at most. After some duds, I found a guy that had been doing pretty good with no $$ for almost 20 years. The guy is always polite to everyone, never talks crap no matter what. His step son is the same way and just getting into derby's so I think I found my guys for a while anyways.
