Default Another great idea from our president

Got this in an email today...

A song some radio stations are banning

The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert.
They received an immediate resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it!
Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered 'politically incorrect'.
Consequently, the song was never released to the public.
Now Congress is getting involved.

Your President is saying that is not fit for release because it offends so many.
So America , see what you think.. can we say “CENSORSHIP”

If this offering speaks to your heart and you feel you want to share it with friends and loved ones, please do.

Listen i dont care what your stand point on your religion is but if your a real american then you know that taking God out of and off of all the stuff that it has been on since the beginning on this country then you will like and agree with this song...and yes our president and congress is trying to ban it because its not politically correct

This is the song...

Fake. The song was released and just never did any good on the market. Here's the Snopes story on it. snopes.com: Diamond Rio - In God We Still Trust

Ever stop to think that spreading lies and misinformation does more harm to your cause than good?

Really? You're right, Bush was NEVER misquoted, slandered, and all out lied about. News Flash! Every President does. Especially with close elections. The second statement you made is too funny though and all too true

(so X2 on what bobcat said)

a lot of times mis-information is just as effective as the truth when talking politics...tell a lie enough times and it becomes true in the minds of folks who don't care to do any real investigating on thier own......

I am talking about what the political parties, activist groups and the media put out there as factual information. It wouldn't matter so much if people actually used their brains and got the information for themselves, but they would rather sit there like sheep being spoon fed anything and everything from propoganda machines in order to sway an opinion or gain a vote. The information super-highway is apparently blowing all the facts out the open windows and keeping all the ****.

I'm not really disagreeing with you. Just pointing out what it says about the people perpetuating the misinformation. Be it political parties, activists, news media or otherwise.

Although on second though I can see where you are coming from concerning my original comment.
