This is a public service announcement...

I hate to be a party pooper... I work for the forest service & I just want you to be aware... & of course perhaps you are... mines can create toxic gases... they can be fatal. You might want to check with some experts to make sure the areas you want to access would be safe to do so. During my career in the F.S. we have had 5 incidents of people dying from toxic mine gases. I know it is a cool adventure to embark on... just get the facts & all first k? We now return you to our regular scheduled program

It snowed ur here in Jackson a tiny bit (nothing stuck) on thursday night...

 

I'm sure Kevin is used to toxic gasses. After a few days in the cabin, I'd bet there's a bit of toxic gas waifting around.

been spending alot of time up to the cabin this fall............this is part of the road on the way in..............I love all the trees ............its actually a city street called Timbaba after the ol Timbaba gold mine

this is excellent country fro large mule deer..........also in the background you can see the old iorn ore mine where the highway is...........the mine has been closed for about 20 years
