Technically they should be the same :humm:
Do your billable hours vary greatly from your actual working hours?
I try to keep mine within a couple hours a week if there's any issues, I hate wasting time.
In my original question, I suppose just total working hours, regardless of if you're paid for it or not, is what I meant.

It all depends for me. Some weeks I work 30 hours, some I work 60 hours, some I work 80+ hours. The only thing that stays the same is the amount I bring home each paycheck. Salary has its advantages and disadvantages. Currently it is an advantage because I am barely doing anything at work but still getting paid good money to be there.

Damn dude, how'd you break your femur?
I know two guys who broke their femurs. One guy in a bike race, the other guy broke it last year on a motorbike ride last summer. He was being a huge tool and nearly killed himself, he's lucky he's still alive. Now he can't afford his new sport bike so maybe he'll smarten up and see that life ain't all fun and games.

Salary here, down a heavy equipment mechanic so I am puttin' in 50-60 hour work weeks trying to keep things running.

No formal heavy training but smart enough to figure 90% of it out.
