I work for coca-cola and they allow shorts in most positions some aren't allowed but i don't really know how well that is enforced but i'm just glad i have a job in this day and age when it seems like everywhere you go more and more people are out of work

Not allowed to wear shorts for my jobs. Like Bow2no1 said, it's considered unprofessional.

 

I used to wear the under my coverall's alot cooler then pant's

 

Not often, I work for my dad so I could just don't want my legs getting cut up. Professional doesn't really matter to much because I do concrete work, I look like a bum most of the time in my work clothes anyway

 

they wount allow use to wear shorts at the fire department

 

yes i do. i live in florida. we all wear shorts. you could die in this heat if you dont. hard hat, and shorts.

i drive a delivery truck for an office products company. our customers see me every day but i'm still allowed to wear shorts. they just have to look nice and preferably khaki. but when i worked for the same company in an office i still could wear shorts just cause it was pretty casual.
