do you wear shorts to work?
 

i don't my legs are bleach white lol

the other day my boss asked me why i don't wear shorts to work since it been real hot lately. my answer was shorts are unprofessional looking and most respectable business men do not wear them. he didn't like that answer.
we are a 3 person crew on a island of 36 houses we are surrounded by millionaires.
i don't recall any of the most respected members of out community wearing shorts at all.
also i have some tattoos on my legs and i don't want the people getting the wrong
impression of me. not that they are bad tattoos but i think tattoos are generally stereotyped and associated with criminal behavior. actually on of my tattoos basically stands for no drugs, no alcohol and no promiscuous sex. i had the large tattoo put on my leg to remind my self of what's important to me.
also an other good reason no to wear shorts, there are a ton of raspberry and black berry bushes out the not to mention we are in the carpentry business, seems like wearing shorts is just asking to get you legs skun up.

I'm not permitted to wear shorts at work now but even when I was allowed to I never did cause it's work not play time and it's not professional IMO.

My legs aint seen the sun since the late 90's.......The last time I actually went swimming was the summer of 06 and that was one time.....Sooooo yeah.....Plus we aint allowed to wear shorts to work here in Iraq, its unprofessional and the sand flies would just eat you up anyways.....

No, put we do get to wear hard hats, steel toed boots, saftey glasses, & saftey vest,:argh:

I haven't worn shorts for... like 11 years lol... only 21 though :humm:

I do wear shorts depending on the job site/company that I'm working for ,wear croc's in the truck too but always my steel toes,safety vest and hard hat when I get out of the truck,it gets really hot in my old truck with no a/c:argh:

Starting this past thursday , I will wear shorts to work every day now until it is too cold to do so ( sometime in october usually). I work for a private company , so who cares if it looks professional. It's usually hard to see my legs when you pass me on the highway anyways :choochoo:
