i think i have.The pod guages in my truck have red led's.I like them,nice and bright.

 

blue LEDs are out there, even the white ones give off a bluish light.

 

Up here in Canada they offer blue, red or green replacement non-LED bulbs for that style of socket. Just colored glass.

 

I'm gonna ebay some lights w/five led's on em that fit in the standard socket. 19 bucks shipped for ten of em. Autometer wants 14 bucks for one bulb with ONE led...I about fainted.

 

Hows about this? I used the 5 Wled from Superbrightleds.com They work pretty good. Been in for about 2 months with no problems. However I also bought their twist lock bases as well. I'm not sure its worth trying to reuse the original bases. They also have some Leds already installed in the twist lock bases. Poke around the site they have some good stuff.

 

hay kazairl. those lamps look good on your guages. Are those just the white bulbs? and does the dimmer function normally with the leds?

 

No those are the Blue ones. And yes the dimmer still works. The only thing is the orange needles are harder to see with the blue lights. However Its not like I look to see how fast i'm driving anyways.

I'll see if I can find the pic that includes my gauges and CD player as they are both blue too. I'm working on changing all the lights to blue however I still need to do the Headlight switch and A/C controls as well as the little cubby hole light.
