its not, look around , if its fun there is a law against it. we are slowly loosing rights and freedoms because someone is offended by others doing something they dont want them to do. dont get me started . ie .... smoking , it should not be up to the city , or state , or customers weather a business allows smoking , it should be the businessowner decision noone elses. if you dont like it... shut up....DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!
if i have a bassboat that i want to keep in my driveway of the house that i bought that should be my right as a homeowner not some city ordinance telling me i cant.
so no this is not a free country , too many crying , bitching , bleeding hearts voting your rights and freedoms away to make sure you dont hurt yourself , or anyones feelings by having freedom or fun.

You're free to believe the bullshat they teach in school about our being free, actually owning land, every vote counting in this "democracy" (that's why we pledge 'and to this Republic', right?!)

Truth, tho, we're not as free as they want us to believe, this really isn't a democracy and never was, we rent land and use priveleges while they claim we own it, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We still have a heck of a lot, especially compared to many other countries!

I live in EASTERN OR, were the lack of population is effecting us out here. Portland area--WESTERN OR over 3/4 the population of the state. That whole every vote counts thing. NOT HERE! I personally don't see this going anywere. (i hope) But the sad story is all the tree hugging, city slicker, prius driving, enviromentalist don't live out here. I wish they would go through with splitting up the state of OR.

 

Yeah.. you think its bad there? Try NY... Anything NYC wants, we have to give in. They have more votes in the city than the rest of the state all together. If we had the ability, we'd have given NYC to NJ by now, but nobody wants them. The city just sucks money out of the rest of the state.

 

Hopefully this wont pass. I am not from Oregan but it will be some stupid bullshat if it does pass.
