why do i bother with other forums?
drivers side seat repair - FSC Forum
isn't one of the main purposes of a forum for do it your self people?

some people don't get the satisfaction of doin it yourself - its a great feeling to look at we YOU have done - even if it don't work like you planned - YOU just fix it yourself - maybe its because I grew up bein taught that if you want somethin done right, you got to do it yourself - besides that we never had the $ to pay to get it done - thats where the term redneck engineering comes from I guess

Ha yea, I hear ya on that one.... On a side note Walmart will have the foam, might want to ever get a little denser foam so it won't get crushed down from the high wear area. Also I would just get blue vinyl to match the lower part of the seat and use it to fill in the damaged area. Since its a high wear area the vinyl will help IMO. Take the seat out/apart and get cozy with a sewing machine....

by cover, i mean to replace the one that is riped. not those covers you buy at walmart that go over the seat.
i can probably go to the dealer and get new foam and the lower cover. i was just seeing what my options are

yeah it's me, i use to go warrenp on all the older forums i use to go on.
i just figured by posting some one could point me int he direction where to find covers and foam. i have hog rings and pliers. we use them for lobstering. except marine grade stainless.
gees i know i can just drop it off at a shop or the dealer. thats pretty damn obvious.
every time some one posts a question i bet that dipstick says "take it to the dealer they will fix it" wow alot of help he is
