Come one now I still don't see why they fired him?

it all depends on how it was played. if they kept there starters in the whole time then ya, that was the wrong way to play imo. if it was done by all they players on the team, it aint no ones fault. you are taught to play hard. even if you are second and third string.

 

Both schools are "Christian" schools. The "losers" are a school for kids with "learning challenges." The winning team kept running up the score with urging from their fans and teammates. They kept opting for 3-pointers and were easily able to snag the rebounds and kept passing the ball beyond the 3-point line.

 

AK I don't care if it's a Learning Challenges team it said like ADD they are not retarded. It's a Basketball game I have never heard of (UNTIL NOW) a Basketball Game getting Skunked.

 

And lifes not fair either outside the walls of said Christan school, better get use to it and get over it...

 

I just think its funny that they fired him. I do think he was somewhat in the wrong

 

More to the story then being told in a single story. It is actually pretty big news around here. A local news poll said 74% of the people that voted said he should have kept his job, they did pull the starters after 3 minutes in to the game after being up 25-0, they then only scored 12 points in the 4th quarter. They do have more then ADD by the way.

All said, IMO he should not have been fired.

 

I saw this on the news today.

It happened in the Dallas area, Bunch of spoiled little rich kids who whine all the time. Who Cares!

 

He shouldn't have been fired IMO but he could of issued a apology just to save face then it would have died out eventually.

 

This happened not to long ago to a high school football team in florida. the coach wasnt fired but peaple tried no less. He pretty much issued a statment sayin the only way they could have kept from runnin up the score is got on the bus and left.

I dont think its right for a coach to get fired for runnin up the score expecially if they pull thier first string out. Coaches are hired to have a winning team to win games and bring money to the school.

Seems kind of like he was fired for doing to good of job.
