Everything has to be PC now a days, pretty soon we won't even be able to voice our opinions with out getting sued or sent to jail or lose your job... Wait a sec... You just can't win no matter what you do...

 

The political-correctedness backlash aside, it's not right for a basketball game to go 100-0.

It's not right that the teams were playing each other, it's not right for there not to have been a mercy rule involved, and it wasn't right for anybody to take some kind of sadistic glee in that kind of total domination.

As a player, you wouldn't want to be on either side of that situation. Obviously the teams shouldn't even have been playing each other. They sure aren't to blame.

As a coach, you really don't want to be on either side of that situation either. They're not to blame either.

Blame would really be on whoever was sanctioning and scheduling this game. No basketball game should go 100-0, that's pretty wrong.

 

It is just wrong to be fired for it. I mean there could have been other actions done.

 

Either they forgot they were playing or thought the score was 001 - 0 and They thought they only lost by 1 point leave it to society to break there hearts

i hate this crap, back in school our wrestling coach always us to be courteous,polite etc so we could get the "good sportsmen ship award" i was like i dunno about you but I'm here to win!
i grew up with ADD, i had to take English and study hall with the special teachers,
one was kinda hot too i didn't get any sympathy awards.... well until the teacher bent over, hey i dropped my pen I'm to retarded to get it can you get it for me....

 

The other thing was the coach had the players full court press the other team in the 4th quarter. wtf.

I do think he needs to be fired. There is no reason why the score should get that ridiculous. I am not saying dont try or let the kids play to win but jesus. you dont full court press in a game your up over 20 points. and he should have done an apology. If the coach had and sportsanship he would have told the kids to not shoot 3s. there are other things that could have been done.

But begle is right. they should have never played to begin with.

 

The bad thing is if he lost 100-0 he still prolly would have been fired.
