i ran it, even restarted comp... problems still here...

how do i reinstall windows? that's just on a disc right?
i'm 2 hours from home bt my wife's comp stuff is here.
she just got a new dell i think she has vista also..
in think a copy comes with the comp doesn't it??
i'll take a peak.

ok, any one know where the disc is?
all we could find was the disc for the printer.

if we have to can we just buy a new one at staples or somewhere

if you got a dell, it'll work, if not, going to have to buy a new copy.

some one else got the fancy Dell for Christmas from her mother


how much does a new copy go for?

Likely came preloaded with Windows that requires a boot disc that you have to burn. I'd go ahead and but a new copy of Home Premium

then thats what i'll do. i'm going to the big city of agusta for a motorcycle swap meet tomorrow. i'll see if can find one

In the mean time, write 0's to your drive. It erases all info and partitions. Like starting out with a new drive!!

I'll see if I can find the program to use.

Gateway Support Drivers & Downloads

Going to need Roxio or Nero (can get a free trial) to burn an ISO image to the disc.
