I think you should go wth Bricks or Stone for the outside atleast so far up and the Fire place. Then a nice dark color siding if you don't want to do the whole house.

Thanks bud! Michigan is NOT the place to find a job though! we've got more people moving out of town each day! The home will have been for sale for a year on January 23rd, We clicked on the link at realtor.com but never gave it a though earlier this year. Then recently we kicked it around and decided to look and here we are.

As far as the brick/stone I think Ill do stone on the chimney, Were kinda screwed as the shingles are blue....

but I did see a nice slate color with the same color shingles on a house that didnt look too bad.... Oh well we'll see

Sorry Man Im color Blind with Blues and Grays So it looked Gray to me. You can always Stucco it.

I plan on building a Cabin Real soon I already have 20 Acres scoped out in Southern Ohio.
