yep adjust them takes 15 minutes thats what cured mine after i got a new head

yer motor is of very tight tolerances and it needs the 5w
Just looked and my manual calls for this:
Single grade oil
SAE 40 for 70-100degF outside temp
SAE 30 for 35-85
SAE20W/20 for 15-50
SAE 10W for -20 - +20

Multi-grade oil:
SAE 20W50 15-80 OT
SAE 20W40 15-80 OT
SAE 15W50 0-80 OT
SAE 15W40 0-80OT
SAE 10W30 for 0-60


It hasn't really gotten colder than 15deg F here so I would have to assume my Rotella T 15W40 is sufficient as per the manual...
