You may be able to tolerate the temperature of the water, I chose not too. The water where you are staying has too much corral and due to the current your legs will get beat up. If you go to Playa take you suit to enjoy the calmer seas without the corral. (on the north side of the pier is topless).

The excursions will run you around $45.00 US for the 1/2 days, but if you go to xcarat you will get an all day pass. They have a nice area to swim and eat there but it (food) is not inclusive to your entry to the park. I would imagine if you took $400.00 total for 2 people you could do enough for 3-4 days for excursions.

Shopping is different, I would shop in Cozumel personally. They will make better deals then in Playa. If the only reason you go to Cozumel is for shopping save the fee for the catamaran and shop in Playa.

 

Ok right on sounds good I'll probably go to playa for sure than. I was planning on needing like $500 each for a couple of trips but that sounds way better.

As for the water our lakes up here never ever get over 70F so I'm guessing I should be alright.

And I love snorkeling so I will most definately be hitting up Cozumel and as most women my girlfriend loves shopping so I'm sure there will be fun for all

I was hoping so..... I guess you all wouldnt be working in a pair of jeans and a flanel jacket in -27C. I'm starting to get a little climatized now its startin to get colder up here.

Yes I definately need some dolphin swimming..... and as for the coronas all I drink when I'm not on vacation is molson canadian, and crown royal pressed..... so I think I'm going to try something new every drink until I fall over, than start over again

You will be drinking Modellos or Dos XX's. That is the only beer they give free at the resorts.

 

As long as it is beer and free in the same sentance nothing else matters
