Wow! I wish I had the will power. Good luck. Chantix (varenicline) is that new "miracle" drug that's suppose to suppress the urge and keep the nicotine from having any effect, should you slip up. Heard a few good things about it from smokers, but don't know about the snuff. There seems to be as much, if not more, physical than chemical urge with snuff.

 

Good Luck Bud. My dad used to chew and growing up around that left me with no desire whatsoever of chewing. He finally stopped a few years ago. He used to swallow the juice so there was no spitter to drink! He did it cold turkey. Hang in there!

 

Chew Is A Desired Addiction In Its Own Category.. But Man It's Good Stuff. I See How People Can Find It Gross, When I Quit Smoking I Found The Smell Of Cigs Disgusting

Congratulations!!!! I quit smokin' in Aug of '07, so I feel your pain! But I will say a prayer for your strength in it!

The cost alone is enough to make someone quit!!!

 

its been 11 days this am since i quit smokin and chewin ....i have 3 kids ....my wife was on me pretty bad about it ...i had quit for 14 years and one day i had a cig ..next thing you know ,pack a day .......its all in how bad you want it ..are you going to let it run your life
