Do I remember? I sure do.
I was sitting in a plane, on the tarmac, in long line of planes, at BWI waiting to take off for Seattle Washington. This was a cross country flight. 3 friends and myself were heading to Alaska for weeks salmon fishing trip. We sat on the tarmac for, I guess, 45 min to an hour. Plane was then directed back to the terminal where we were told to disembark, pick up our luggage and evacuate the airport. As we reentered the terminal from the plane, looked up and they were showing the plane hitting the Pentagon. That was the first we had any idea what was going on. Scary, eire feeling.
This was the first time in my life I was herded like cattle. Military guys, police and security everywhere.
