Default any wood cutters?

I changed my chain on my STIHL 029 farm boss the other day and I over tightened one of the bar bolt nuts and the bolt got stripped. I had to cut the nut off but the threads are boogered up.

are those studs replacable?

Cant say for sure, I never had to replace my bar studs. BUT I would assume you can replace them. I am curious how tight do you tighten them to have that happen?

its a standard torquing practice to tighten till it strips then back off 1/4 turn hehehehehehe

without looking at it its hard to say but if it is actually a stud then you can back it out and get a new one
