Default Truck Classification

Here are the numbers:

Class 1
Truck GVWR ranges from 0-6000 lbs.

Class 2
Truck GVWR ranges from 6,001-10,000 lbs.

Class 3
Truck GVWR ranges from 10,001-14,000 lbs.

When I renewed my registration, I was sent a class 3 sticker. Presumably by mistake. The truck is a class 2 truck, no doubt.

My question is, does the class 3 sticker help or hinder me in any way?

Did your registration cost more this year compared to last year? The only thing I see that could happen is if something happened (i.e accident) and they figured out they sent you a class 3 sticker and you did not pay for a class 3 sticker. You might have to pony up the difference between the class 2 and class 3 sticker.
