Im headin out to lebanon PA in a few minutes to pick up my buds BD tranny. Anyone wanna come watch the homestead for a few hrs? There's beer in the fridge . Just don't use the beer to put out the fire. That's what the hose is for!

I always said if I were gonna live near fire areas, I would put an irrigation system up on the property, say a head in every tree, and at leas 6 oin the roof of the house, fires in the area, turn on the system and get everything good and wet, and keep it that way till the fires pass by.

All is well in Piney town . Just got home and heard from a friend on the forest fire service that they got it contained early this evenin. It could've turned bad real quick if the winds had picked up earlier.

Mr miyagi,

Course there's trees left in jersey! The southern part at least haha. I live smack dab on the edge of a 110,000 acre state forest. We had a few really bad fires round here last yr but luckily we've got one helluva forest fire crew.
