Default 2003 Eclipse

Just looking for some knowledge on the 2.4L and how i can get some extra fuel mileage out of it! I am going to order a Cold Air Intake, but would like to now some more stuff that i can do myself to get better mileage. Thanks in advance!

So would leaving the cat on be better than taking it off??

I know in the future we might, but in Ky we don't have any laws against it!

a few guys I used to work with that bought ricers for DD said taking the cat off lost TQ because of back pressure and hurt performance. I assume this would hurt mileage too. They would just put a much bigger/free flowing intake on it and call it good.

you remove a cat on a OBD2 car and your mileage will suffer because it never goes into closed loop.......
