Congrats, that is an awesome house. What's a round about fingure on price for a house that size? If you don't want to answer I understand, just seeing what you get for your money.

We paid $177500 could of done better on the price, but I was willing to pay $190K for the house. It isn't easy to find a house in town with a big enough garage for both our vehicles and room left over for me to tinker in there too. I was on the verge of just buying a lot and building when I found this one.

Thats a really nice house. Where exactly is it located? Next GTG at your place LOL

I am glad to hear you are filling it with ankle biters, that was one of my first priorities too. They help make it feel like home.

CONGRATS!!!

That is a typical house in Texas. You should see what 250k buys you around here!

$170k!!! Holy crap thats cheap. I know home prices range all around the country but that's a steal for a house that new and that size. Round here a house exactly like that goes for over $500k easy.

Congrats on the house and the kickass rate!! .025% wow!

Ya when we started looking I was even surprised with what you could get for less then $200K. We didn't even think about when we put a offer on the house, but just we wanted a 4 bed. 3 beds to use for us and kids and the 4th for an office. Now we ended up with a our 3 beds, guest room, office, and game room... Even got a nice playground set in the back yard.

If someone doesn't plan a GTG soon here, I might have to do one at our place. But the wife doesn't even want company until we get unpacked all the way. First we have to finish painting, pick out carpet and install it, maybe not even until after we install hard wood floors, and enclose the office. And so far we have painted 11/2 rooms in 4 weeks ya so give a me a year or 2. But now I have something constructive to do with my time. One more problem we don't have any straight roads for burnouts, but there a several cul de sac for dough nuts.
