Default Construction Loan

finally was able to get the bank happy with the amount of the loan and money we are putting into the deal so they are submiting it and should know by mid week and have funds ready the next week.. so better late than never in getting to start our home. glad I will be able to do a lot of the work myself and the help of friends and family and a lot of them owe me...

thanks now the harder part comes getting it all together and hopefully in before the snow hits. stress time but I know it can be done.

thats my plan. I know the cabinets will look good cuz thats what I do. and the finish work will be good too as I have done that before I did cabinets. It's going to have a lot of sweat equity in it. just gotta try not to stress too much

have to put off building of my home as they are most likely closing the hospital my g/f works at and the other hospital has no need for cls's and cabinet work is slow as the economy is a mess... The parent company went bankrupt and the hospital has been for sale but no buyers in this market. so unless someone comes in soon it's going to close.

That sucks. Next spring I wil hopefully be looking for a peice of land to build on, but who knows in this economy.

There is always hope a company will come and pick up the hospital before it's all closed down. Best of luck in getting that piece of land. I hope to hang on to mine till things get back to normal. This is where government would be great to step in and fix something that employs a lot of people in a town with not much industry.
