Runs awesome untill it gets hot then it just dies and wont start up ,

Coil?

BTW its a Jonsered and it will out cut dads sthil ALL DAY LONG , (When it runs)

Might be vapor locking, spark plug fouling up, have you been fiddling with the carburator screws??

Its cranked to the gills , Runs like a Bat out of Hell but when it gets hot its DOA

Check the gas cap vent, make sure it's not plugged with mud or something. Had that happen on the riding tractor, would suck the tank in til i vented it.

I'll check that but it runs about 1/2 tank out before it dies

You say it's "cranked"? how long ago? Does it have a bigger slug in it?

The reason I ask is I have seen over time where they will get heated up and the piston will actually swell and start to seize. When it cools down again it will run fine.
