That was a nasty wreck, I can only imagine he never felt it.

Prayers go out to his family.

the blast knocked him unconscious or killed him.........he didnt feel anything..........ive seen way too many racing accidents to know this unfortunately.......those big blower motors are ticking time bombs, it always made me uneasy when we dynoed them at 2500 horsepower up at school....... the same motor at 1/3 of the power those funny's are making.......and there is no real way to kill those motors except to kill the fuel cause at that point the sparkplugs have melted and all the motor is doing is firing off compression........but the fire still dosent go out cause by now its started to melt the tires, whats left of the body and usually the fuel cell........

remember Englishtown was designed waaaaaay back in the 50's and back then running 9's in a digger was insane..........

it looks to me that the chutes did deploy, rather it was from the blast or he pulled them but they got mangled with debris and didn't work. either way it is a sad tragedy.

my prayers are with Scott's family.

It's definitely a sad day. May he rest in peace and my God look over his family.
