my truck came up for inspection and it failed big time.

if any of you guys have any of these in decent condition please let me know.. i will pay with what i have.. i have very little thanks to being bent over by previous emplorere were i towed for about 4 months (shouldve never left carquest now that im back there) but im so far behind on bills ive been putting 10-15 bucks in my truck as i get it.. doing as much side work as i can and its not working.. granted i am paying my bills.. thats what i need.
but my plates expire in 2 weeks...

i failed inspection (took it to two places and both failed for samet hing..)

need trac bar..
all steering components (tie rod, tie rod ends, drag link. all wear parts on my steering are shot) need a ujoint.. i can take care of that.. thats less than 20 bucks..hahaha.
needs control arm bushings..
this is just to pass inspecitions
i also need a lift pump mine is dead. ive sold everything i can and am about to the point of debombing truck to make it drive right..

if any of you guys have any of this kinda stuff laying around land would be willing to let it go for cheap or know of anyone that has it.. that would be great..
i would just start driving jeep but it doesnt run...

i already owe some people on some other parts and im tryinng to get those paid for asap so i really cant afford anything expensive... plus truck is going for sale as soon as it is fixed most likely.. its not worth keeping dumping all this money that i dont have into it.. being in school sucks.

i might have a tie rod end....
from my 94. it was new last fall. i took all my tie rods to the dump yesterday. and the end was in there. lucky for me we are allowed to pick the metal pile at our dump.. they are closed tomorrow but open Tuesday. I'll see if it's still there and I'll grab it for yah.

 

Me too...unfortunately, I dont usually replace parts that are good...and once they are off the truck I just get rid of them.

Have you looked there?
We have one here called "Pull Apart" where you go out in the yard and find what you need and take it apart yourself and its very cheap. I bought an AC compressor for a honda Prelude there and paid 7 bucks for it...and it worked!
The parts your talking about wouldn't be more than a couple bucks each at this place.

 

we dont have any latemodel pick and pulls. i havnt even found a 1/2 ton at my local one.
