What a moron I can understand that as some kind of hobby. As for daily driving he is going to get someone kill.

We saw that guy on TV about two years ago.
Following him in traffic for any amount of time would
have to be one of the worst experiences in your life.
I'd want to get out of the truck, walk over and him.

Yeah what a clown. He takes 25mph corners on city streets at over 50mph with no power steering or brakes. He'll be lucky if he only kills one person.

Not to mention riding in a car with the A/C off AND the windows up on a hot summer's day is just asking for a heat stroke.

 

Yeah, this guy wants to die. Several years ago when I decided to drive more sainly most of the time I incorporated a few things, but not nearly to the drastic point he has and saw a decent increase in mileage. I keep up with traffic and don't take turns too fast (no faster than I would otherwise ). I don't shut the car off. Things like rolling up to a light in case in turns green instead of staying in the gas the whole way and braking right when I get to it. I really try not to mash the go pedal too hard taking off. In Houston there is usually some slow person in front of me I will have to wait for anyway. In my DD I went from about 17-18 city to about 21. Not huge, but it does help. I am sure I could do much better doing what he does, but that is crazy. Some person will kill him one day if he does not get killed first in an accident. I am going to use the A/C or roll my windows down when I want to and it is comfortable.

 

59 MPG... is that all? I might be impressed if he was able to squeeze his mileage to 90 mpg using these tactics. But, only as a demostration; not as routine.
