I am going to be in your position in Dec and I can hardly wait, It has been a long haul this is my second house and we have been at it since 1976 so it wiil be nice not to have to be looking at those payments every month although like you say the taxes are still there (in fact they will be more than my first house payments were).
Anyway congrats on the accomplishment

 

Oh and I found out the other day that my house is now uninsured as it was part of the monthly payment

now I gotta do insurance on the side
