I don't think that's a cougar track. Cats only have 4-toes. Click here for identification of cat tracks:

I believe that's a big *** racoon track. Or Yeti.

Here's lots of animal tracks:

Still looks like a cat to me. Coons are smaller with really defined claw marks.

Yea it was a couger, chasing deer down there. The conservation officer that i talked too, said they tracked it but couldnt find it and just be carefull when where out there.

Theres been a few sightings, my daughter was walking with her gf right about a mile down from here and one ran in front of them. they both frooze and called me to come get them...they where both pale, for good reason. very lucky it never jumped them.

I looked at the paw prints too Larry thought it was a raccoon at first, but theres no possible way theres that big of a coon around here. the paw was as big as my hand spread out also the stride between his feet where over a yard long easily, and coons arent that big around here.

The dog was barking like he was getting attacked,So I walked out on the deck, pitch black and heard this gianormus GROWWWWL, scared the crap out me so i went back in the house, and here it was two coons sitting on the elbow of my drain pipe. They were so loud .. I wont be doing that again.... Now our freindly bear is back to eat our garbage again. oh yea lots of stories......

Be very careful out there. Lately there's been lots of cat attacks on kids and pets.
