Default I Love CARQUEST's Filter Sale!!!

Just got back from Carquest, they are having their yearly filter sale, I just picked up 2 oil filters and a fuel filter for my '04 CTD and only paid $18.75!!! All their filters are like 65% off until Sat. the 19th.

Oil Filter- Reg. $18.48/ Sale $4.49
Fuel Filter- Reg. $34.34/ Sale $8.34

WOOHOO!!!

I wont use anything but a Fleetguard Stratapore...and I dont care how $ they are.

Someone told me that the carquest ones were made by Fleetguard...don't know how accurate that is

Nope, Wix makes em'. Even better if you ask me. Wix is owned by Dana/Spicer, have you ever seen junk come from them?

Your right, now that I think about it, they did say Wix made 'em. And someone told me that was all they would run if they couldn't find Fleetguard (which I haven't been able to find anywhere...) Thats how I got confused.

I run the napa Gold also by Wix , I just hit their sale and got a years worth of filters at their cost. I did not know that Wix made carquest filters

i work at a napa store so obviously i use napa gold's, but i dont use just any. the 2nd (1607) and third gens(7620) use different filters, not really. same thread, same gasket, only difference is the 7620 has a place on bottom for a filter wrench. In the 7620 series they make what they call 7620XE which is an extra efficiency filter, when i took one out of the box it has no napa markings at all just wix numbers and logos. So we use those and amsoil oil. just my .02 sounds like a good deal for carquest but of course i get all my stuff at cost.

Actually the local Cummins dealer here in town only sells Wix filters, they don't even stock the Fleetguards.
