They are some gooooood filters, I've done plenty of testing with them when I worked at Dana, of course, we didn't test against anything else, but we never had a failure, and they were a lot better than the Fram's we got stuck using when we ran out... I've never seen hydraulic oil turn black so fast...

They are the local big truck service center, they are the only authorized repair for Ford, Sterling, Cummins and a few others in town. But ya they are an authorized service center.

LOL... Ok, well if you were using your Jeep for what it was made for, ahem, STOCK... You'd have been ok, at least it wasn't an AMC 20 rear end, you'd have spun the axle right out of the flange!

I have seen stock Jeeps blow those rears up. The AMC 20's get a bad rap. I am running stock 1981 shafts in my Jeep, with a lift, bigger tires, etc and I beat on it with no problems yet. Several of my friends have done the same.

I had this happen to me goin down the highway in an Isuzu Trooper. The wheel with a half shaft attached came out and was racin me down the highway. I was lookin out the drivers side window tryin to keep out of the way of it as it was bouncin off my door at 60mph. Funny thing was the truck stayed up right on 3 wheels and kept rollin down the highway till I got off on the shoulder.

Ha, those 8.8's aren't as strong as everyone thinks they are. For a mild wheeler, they are fine, but if you plan on really wheeling it, don't even bother.
