i used to drive a tank aka '71 ford F-100 with a 360 big block and a 3 on the tree and yes i still have it

 

got a taurus sho 1989, yes bought it used 15 years ago for $6000. will still go as fast as you like.

 

even better than that is it's more 'environmentally friendly' to use (recycle) an older vehicle with a used powerplant (from a wrecked, newer vehicle) than it is to buy the stupid little hippy cars that take all kinds of resources to create, in addition to the extra batteries and electronics that are trash in 10-15 years tops.
