Car/Truck show, concert!

Start making plans now, folks....Saturday, June 23rd at the lot adjacent the Sonic Drive-In at Morgantown, PA - arrivals as early as 12:00, car show starts at 2:00, ends at 8:00, awards handed out then....we already have 4 bands signed, will likely end up with 7-8. I'm trying to get 300 cars, trucks and bikes on the ground...we'll have some great press coverage, and Sonic is sponsoring a large part of the event.

The best part is that all of the proceeds for the show go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, earmarked by me for children's cancer research. My oldest son, Derek, was diagnosed in January 2002, and is doing great now, thanks to the staff at St Christopher's in Philadelphia and our family doctor.

I hope so, too - most likely, he'll fly up from Oklahoma for the show, and sit in with a couple of the bands....I know I'll be singing...fun stuff.

Hey Ronin. Had the family down there for lunch today. My wife loves Sonic. I mentioned this to her so I'll see if we can make it. That's her birthday.

 

Great deal, and I'm hoping to have quite a few diesels on hand.....
