how effective are the internal stack mufflers?? do you have any experience with them at all?

i ask because i can't take droan and that has been a major turn off for me about stacks.

mine made little if any difference. it made the acceleration tone a little less raspy but all in all it is still loud. i have the GR inserts in mine..... just figured i'd give my .02 ...... i just did it to apease the Po-Po.... it's a "restriction" as it necks it from 5" to 4" so i get away with having a muffler.....

Johnny this is the Cat here,
Benjamin did give you a very good answer. BlackCloud's answer to this question (we get it a lot) is that the internal mufflers will reduce the noise level by about 1/3 compared to a unmuffled (straight pipe) system. So for noise reduction they don't work that well. They do, however, fit the bill in the states that require a muffled exhaust system. The pesky droan can be solved using an exhaust guide installed in front of a aeroturbine muffler. Check this out on our site

Sure hope this helps and we will darn sure be here for you when you decide to order your stacks. We also offer a 3% discount to any member of the bombers forum.
