I figured out my timing rattle a few weeks ago, I did not have the stack tune loaded on the Predator, loaded it and no timing rattle anymore But now I am stock since the combo has smoked my clutch

You can have to boxes at once. I have both the tst and drag comp hooked up. But I only have the tst pm3 tapped to the pump right now. It takes me about 2mins to tap the drag comp in if I want to switch. Just having the drag comp hooked up and not tapped into the pump wire it is acting as a ez. If it wasnt so fricken cold I would get pictures for ya. I still might try to snap a couple quick one to show ya.

Well I just got back from Zimmeys and I am doing the stack with my edge with juice, attitude. and am going to stack it with the Smarty box seems to be the best way and should have great low end power. I will just have to use the setting with out timming since my edge does that.

Hey Dave, since most of us are new to the BD boxes, do they compare in function and performance to any of the ones were more familiar with. TST, Edge or any of the many others out there.

BD-Power’s X-Power and X-Power Plus

The BD X-Power Plus will boost horsepower and torque by controlling Injection Duration and Timing. The X-Power Plus is great for those of you who want all the power with out the hassle of having to stack a tuner with a performance chip. The X-Power Plus can be stacked with most tuners but may cause issues associated with too much timing. This is common when stacking tuners with a performance chip that already have high levels of advanced timing. The X-Power Plus uses a dial to fine tune HP anywhere from 0-170 RWHP for optimal power and controllable EGT’s.

The BD X-Power will boost horsepower and torque by controlling Injection Duration only. This works great for those of you who are already using a tuner with high levels of advanced timing and are looking for more power through stacking. This eliminates the issues associated with running to much timing. The X-Tuner uses a dial to fine tune HP anywhere from 0-130 RWHP for optimal power and controllable EGT’s

I have mine stacked with a bd x-power but I only run the ez on 1 and also have the x-power turned down a bit. The stack makes good power but just remember that the stock turbo is only good to a point. The x-power has a adjustment dial in the cab I have turned mine down to keep boost at 30psi. I can turn it up higher but don't like running that much boost on the stock turbo and clutch.
