Are You Stacking Chips/Tuners

I am looking for feedback on what combinations of chips and tuners you guys/girls are stacking to build the big power. Also what issue you have had, if any when stacking. Basically what is working and what is not.

BD-Power Diesel Performance
X-Power with X-Monitor

To show our appreciation to the members and staff of the Diesel Bombers, BD-Power Diesel Performance is offering a special forum price on all Dodge X-Power, X-Power Plus and X-Power - X-Monitors combination kits. This limited time offer is exclusive to members of the Diesel Bombers only. If you are not registered and would like to participate in this special offer, simply register and participate in the forums to qualify for the discount.

The BD X-Power Plus will boost horsepower and torque by controlling Injection Duration and Timing. The X-Power Plus is great for those of you who want all the power with out the hassle of having to stack a tuner with a performance chip. The X-Power Plus can be stacked with most tuners but may cause issues associated with too much timing. This is common when stacking tuners with a performance chip that already have high levels of advanced timing. The X-Power Plus uses a dial to fine tune HP anywhere from 0-170 RWHP for optimal power and controllable EGT’s.

The BD X-Power will boost horsepower and torque by controlling Injection Duration only. This works great for those of you who are already using a tuner with high levels of advanced timing and are looking for more power through stacking. This eliminates the issues associated with running to much timing. The X-Tuner uses a dial to fine tune HP anywhere from 0-130 RWHP for optimal power and controllable EGT’s

The BD X-Monitor is our digital gauge package that can be mounted on the Pillar or dashboard. It is available in two or three gauge readouts, and will display EGT’s, boost with an optional third readout for transmission temperature, oil temperature, back pressure or fuel pressure. The X-Monitor will record maximum values and has an alarm mode that can be set for all three display to indicate when you are approaching a pre set temperature or pressure.

I planned on adding a smarty, (to my edge) but ran out of funds. That is still a viable option, but when the funds are there, I will re-evaluate what's available.

Thanks for participating, did you read about the issues associated with too much timing. I know lots or guys are using the smarty as a great stacking chip. Is anyone seeing issues with too much timing using this combination?

If I recall, the Smarty has 10 levels. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Levels 1,3,5,7 & 9 have timing. Levels 2,4,6,8 & 10 do not have timing and would rely on my Edge for timing. Or it's the other way around. Either way, I believe that would cure the issue. Has anyone else heard or experienced otherwise?

Ah that would make sense... and would make for a great stacking chip, can anyone confirm this?

Yes, I can confirm it. http://smartypower.com

Learned something today, no wonder the Smarty is so popular!

Thanks for the information! :c:

I have the Puck/Predator stack on mine. I only run the two together at low speeds because at high speeds I get some serious timing rattle but the puck on high and the predator or tow/economy, or at least that is what I think it is. After the first time I turned it off and have not tried it again.

Thanks for the information, that is exactly what I am looking for here... information. :U:
