SUB Lights
So I got a custom under the back seat sub box comeing in friday. What I want to do it get white led strips to put under the seats in the front and back. I was thinking haveing them on a 3 way switch. One mode on with interor lights to light the floor, one to light with the beat of the bass, and one off. What yall think Im going to hav to find a sound controler to run the beat mode but I think it look cool

I did something similar with one of those dual sub boxes that has the Led's in it, I just wired it up with the subs and it worked pretty good. What do you have for a sound system? What speakers and how many Watts? How many Watts does your amp push peak and rms and how do you have it tuned? How many Led's will you be running and I'm assuming they are 12 volt. There is a few things to consider when doing this as if you don't have enough residence on the lights they will be more constant than with the beats, too much and not enough glow with bumps.

Sound system is comeing in with each paycheck. I got MTX 10 comps in a thunderform case with 400 rms and 750 peak. Doors will be sony 4 way and the head unit will be sony. the sub amp is yet to be known as for Led's I have a meter of smd led strips around the shop so it will all be custom.

Sounds like it will be a nice setup when its done. I'm sure you know how to tune the head unit to the amp because that's a big part of running the led's. Let me know what you get for an amp and how many led's you put in. You may have to do some testing with a multi meter before all said and done.
