tweeters?
i have a 95 dodge with 6x9s run by a 500watt amp in my front door panels and 6" rounds in the back ran straight off the deck, i also have a 10" and 12" subs in the truck that are run bridged down to 2.5ohms on a 1000wattt mono kenwood
i want to put tweeters in but dont know much about them, should i put them in the arm pillars or in the back seat somewhere? maybe overhead somewhere? also what all would i need to wire them in? i found some kenwoods that come with crossovers is that all i would i need?

so i looked around and started wondering if i can even wire up tweeters with a crossover on a coaxial speaker? it sounds like i can but im not 100% sure
i was thinkin about wiring the tweeters with crossovers on the 2 channels i have for my front speakers on the head unit that im not using and mounting them up in the corners in the back seat, the problem im having is that anyone sitting in the back seat just gets a nice vibration on their *** and cant hear any of the music plus some songs have sooo much bass that it drowns out the highs all together useless i have it cranked up

I'd mount them in the A pillars or in pods on the doors. With crossovers you could run them off the standard outputs on the deck, then you'd have separate crossover adjustments for the 6x9s and tweeters.
If you set them up so you can aim them it makes a big difference.
