Default Looking for ideas for subwoofer box.

I want to add a subwoofer, maybe two, under my rear seat. I am leaning towards 10". Has anyone got pics of their setup, so I can rip off the idea?

You can get a general idea of 2 10's under a Chevy. It is not the same truck but the idea is the same.

What subwoofers are you using? They've got to be pretty shallow to fit inside that box. Are they firing down?

Have a look at this:

Its for a third gen, but maybe they have something that would fit your second gen or you could modify. The price is real good.

I'm working on a setup now for a single downfire 12, you will have to raise your backseat 2 in, but when its done it should sound like 2 15's, baffle's are great. I will post up and when I get it right they will be for sale

Those ideas are pretty nice, but I've been tossing around a single 10" sub, front firing. I saw a setup on another site that had dual front firing 10" subs, but I'm not sure where I saw it. I'm a carpenter by trade, so I don't have an issue building the box.

I'm thinking of placing the sub dead center, so that people can sit on either side without bumping the speaker, plus I'm going to add some sort of grill to protect it. I guess I'm going to have to design something. I'll post my results, measurements included, if anyone's interested.

BTW: I might just have one of those under-seat organizers for sale.
