Default Hey

I was wondering if any of you folks are familiar with the old school Rockford Punch Series amps? You know, the ones that were like 60 or 90 watts that could kick the hell out of todays big stuff?

Yup the old "waffle" amps...

I actually looked at getting one on ebay when I started on mine, but there was just to much doubt that I wasn't gonna get an old hunk of metal than a good old amp.

Nothing wrong with the ol' fosgate set up. Been running their amps for years, not to mention their subs. Got a couple punch 10's in a custom fiberglass box thumpin in my truck.

The old RF stuff pounds but you can find much cleaner amps now a days.

IMO

The old Orion amps thumped pretty good but boy you had to have a dedicated battery for each amp.

Default That would suck

I dont need to start running multiple batts. I just want to put some good door speakers in and hook up my two 10" RF subs to my amp and call it good.

From what I understand its how ever big you want. if you put a cap in and the lights still dim badly put in a bigger one.Ive currently got like a .5farad cap in the cheppy with 1200rms pulling on it and it hasent died yet so I dont think you need to worry about buring them up.
